Master Trainer – Yukiko Kashiki How did you start dancing? When I was three years old my mom took me to see a ballet performance and I fell in love with ballet. What is your favorite Ballet Beautiful workout move? I love Swan Arms Cardio! This exercise is such a great full body workout. What is your top fitness tip? In any Ballet Beautiful exercise that we do, remember to stay connected and engage your core! What is your best healthy living tip? Besides exercise, I would say eat well and rest well! What is your favorite dance memory? I have so many wonderful memories from twenty plus years of professional dancing, it is hard to choose one! Favorite ballet? My absolute favorite ballet is Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet. Favorite go-to healthy food? I love having overnight soaked oatmeal and chia seeds for breakfast. I like having it with coconut or almond milk! What is your favorite indulgence or treat? Royce fresh chocolate. How do you style your dancewear from the studio to the streets? Pretty much everyday I wear a leotard with a skirt or jeans. Ballet Beautiful leotards are so beautiful and easy to combine as a street outfit. And, my go-to tights are my BB black tights! Do you have a favorite app that makes your life easier? I use an app called “Transit” to check my morning commute. I often use Yelp as well. When you’re not dancing, we can find you… At restaurants or theaters! I love food and spending quality time with my friends.
