My canvas shoes from ballet open class do the job just fine, but here's why I prefer these slippers: the satin material makes it easier to slide the top or side of the foot along the floor, such as when I'm doing pulses with the working leg in tendu. Since I work out on a carpet that has quite a bit of friction, the BB slippers have made exercises with foot sliding easier, and so my form has improved. Plus...they look really cute!

I love these slippers and have them in a few colors. They feel soft on my feet and move with them during the exercises, standing or mat. They last long too, I had one pair for a little over a year. These are a good purchase.
