Ballet Beautiful NYC Guide Hello Ballet Beauties! As you know, Ballet Beautiful is based in New York City and we must say, that we absolutely adore this city. From the museums, to the shows, to the parks and the food, it truly is a special place with so much culture and wonderful things to do. There is always a new neighborhood to explore, restaurant to try or musical to see. We wanted to share a few of our favorite things to do so you can experience the city the BB way! Favorite Museum: The Metropolitan Museum of Art – this museum is filled with such incredible pieces of art. You never run out of rare and beautiful objects to see and explore. We also love their Roof Garden Bar for a gorgeous view of Central Park. Favorite Picnic Spot: Sheep Meadow in Central Park. Favorite Farmers Market: The Union Square Greenmarket is truly special! It is always filled with delicious, seasonal produce, and we love their apple cider doughnuts as a little treat. Favorite Park: Of course Central Park is one of our favorites, but we also love Riverside Park which is right on the water and is a great uptown escape, and Prospect Park in Brooklyn is gorgeous and feels like a getaway from the city. Favorite Outdoor Activities: Walking on the Highline, going for a leisurely bike ride, row boating in Central Park, enjoying a fun meal at Smorgasburg and walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Favorite spot for a bike ride: Along the West Side Highway in Manhattan. Favorite spot for shopping: Madison Avenue! Favorite spot for sweets: Balthazar, Dean & Deluca, and Levain Bakery on the Upper West Side. Favorite Getaway: Fire Island, Cape Cod or the Catskills. Favorite neighborhood to explore: The West Village – this neighborhood is so quaint. We always love walking down the cobblestone streets and discovering the cutest shops!
