Hello Ballet Beauties!
I could not be more excited to introduce you all to my new nail polish collaboration with Formula X! This elegant limited edition collection embodies some of my favorite things in the fierce yet feminine world of classical ballet.
When Formula X approached me about a collaboration I was thrilled because 1. I love the brand, 2. I’m a DIY polish/beauty junkie, and 3. I am all about personal expression. Nail polish is like icing on the beauty cake.
These gorgeous shades are an easy and fun way to dress up any look and add sparkle to your Swan Arms!
The story of this collection is all things Ballet Beautiful, and when I thought about the colors, I wanted them to be true to the world of classical ballet. The three colors in the collection are: Satin Slippers, Ballet Barre and Lilac Fairy. I love these shades because they are versatile, classic and unique.
Satin Slippers is the perfect ballet pink, it’s not really pink, not really peach, it’s that beautiful pinky peach blend. The Formula X lab matched this polish to exactly my beloved pink satin ballet slippers. I could not love this color more!
Ballet Barre is the perfect grey toned metallic with terrific depth and a lot of shine. This shade is reflective of the hard work that a dancer puts into their every day training. The shade is glamorous but with an edge.
Lilac Fairy is one of the dancers from one of my favorite ballets, Sleeping Beauty. Inspired by this classical Fairy Tale ballet, the color is incredibly romantic. This lovely soft lavendar shade brings to mind lots of tulle and classical ballet.
To kick off this exciting collaboration Ballet Beautiful and Sephora hosted a workout at the BB Soho studio followed by a launch party. The workout was a killer and we had a blast! So many beautiful pictures were taken at the event, we put together a fun roundup with some of them.
